Airline career progression

Start as a Junior First Officer and build toward First Officer, Senior First Officer, Captain, and Senior Captain. Career progress combines XP, flight hours, ratings, virtual earnings, employment history, airline applications, and completed flights.

Jetstream’s documented catalog represents more than 60 modern and historic airlines with real-world-inspired routes, ICAO airports, callsigns, and fleet compositions.

Live flight tracking and grading

During an active leg, Jetstream reads simulator state through SimConnect and presents route progress with flight details such as speed, altitude, heading, fuel, wind, outside air temperature, and estimated time to destination.

Completed career flights receive a 0–100 score derived from bounded telemetry and configuration evidence. The app also keeps a temporary shared presence marker so signed-in pilots can see recent active flights without publishing a permanent position history.

Airline mastery

Jetstream tracks eligible completed legs by airline across five tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Master. The current thresholds are 5, 15, 40, 100, and 250 eligible completed legs respectively.

Generic aircraft use standard simulator variables. Selected PMDG, iFly, Fenix, FlyByWire, and iniBuilds families have enhanced switch-state providers for deeper configuration evidence.

Cabin announcements

Eleven customizable announcement slots cover the trip from boarding through taxi-in. Most are driven by flight phases or cockpit events; the ready-for-takeoff slot is manual-only. Each slot can be previewed and replaced with the pilot’s chosen audio.

  • Jetstream is a Windows x64 desktop companion, not a console, macOS, Linux, or mobile app.
  • An account and internet access are required for sign-in, online features, and authoritative flight settlement.
  • The product is in public alpha, so features and saved progress can be affected by bugs or future changes.
  • Jetstream is independent and not affiliated with Microsoft, Asobo Studio, aircraft manufacturers, or represented airlines.
