Privacy Policy

Data we collect

• Account data. Firebase Authentication stores your account identifier, email address, display name, and provider profile data when you sign in.
• App telemetry. Jetstream may record basic app usage events such as sessions, feedback clicks, route update events, flights started, and flights completed.
• Feedback. The in-app feedback action opens Jetstream's Discord feedback channel. Feedback you post there is handled by Discord and the channel's moderation and support workflow, not by Jetstream's Firebase Storage.
• Payment records. Stripe processes checkout and card details. Jetstream stores non-card payment fulfillment records such as checkout id, purchased product keys, amount, currency, and account uid.
• Local career data. Your pilot profile, routes, schedules, flight history, career progress, settings, and entitlements are stored locally on your Windows device.
• Local profile photo. If you choose a profile photo, Jetstream copies it into local app data on your Windows device. Other users cannot see it, and Jetstream does not upload it to Firebase or cloud storage.

Payment data

Jetstream does not store card numbers or payment credentials. Payments are handled by Stripe Checkout. Jetstream receives payment status and product metadata needed to unlock purchased items.

Local files

Jetstream stores local app data under your Windows user profile, including career saves, route data, settings, profile photos, logs, and cached assets. Authentication sessions are protected with Windows user-scope data protection where supported.

How we use data

We use data to run the app, restore paid purchases to your account when you sign in, recover interrupted purchases, troubleshoot bugs, improve product quality, and operate route and catalog updates.

Sharing

We use Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, database, analytics-style product telemetry, and backend hosting. We use Stripe for payments. We use Discord for feedback. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Local career data and local profile photos remain on your device until you remove them. Discord feedback is retained according to Discord and channel moderation practices. Telemetry and payment fulfillment records may be retained for support, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and product operations.

Your choices

You can sign out of Jetstream, remove your local profile photo in Settings, and request deletion or support by using the Discord feedback channel in the app.

Security

Jetstream uses Firebase Authentication, backend-only Stripe secrets, Firebase security rules, and local save integrity checks. No system is perfectly secure, especially local desktop saves, but the alpha is designed to avoid shipping payment secrets in the desktop app.
